About Kevin
I’ve been playing guitar since I was ten years old, when a friend of my father gave me a weathered old guitar adorned with a painted heart and knife. Music has been my passion ever since, and I bring a diverse range of styles to both my performances and teaching.
In addition to my musical pursuits, I hold a PhD in Anthropology. My research focuses on the intersections of over-policing, racial injustice, and climate change. My dissertation examines a campaign for police reform in a small town in Southern Illinois, exploring how activists worked to address social issues while also seeking to mend their community’s relationship with the environment.

My repertoire includes timeless favorites such as Bach’s Cello Suite in G Major and Pachelbel’s Canon, which you can hear in my recordings.
